I’ll be honest: I didn’t read as much this year as I hoped I would.
I hit a slump about halfway through the year. It’s easy to feel bad about that, but I have to remind myself that it’s not about the number of books one reads but the quality of books.
Even while I didn’t read as many books as I wish, there’s a few books that were so good, I’ll be going back to them over and over.
Here are some of those books:
Sacred Fire by Ronald Rolheiser
Invitation to a Journey by Robert Mulholland
The Holy Longing by Ronald Rolheiser
The Weight of Glory by C.S. Lewis
Deeper by Dane Ortlund
BONUS: Be Thou My Vision by Jonathan Gibson
