The Sunday Pages is a weekly newsletter for paid subscribers that rounds up five interesting links for the week, recommends a book with highlights of about a dozen meaningful quotes from the book, and includes occasional updates on personal projects.
I’m very glad this book as a new edition out with introductions and footnotes or else I might not have made it through. But I did and it was entirely worth it.
I typically don’t love most apologetics books. They’re dry and full of arguments that are usually just sort of okay. But this is an old book and is nothing like a typical apologetic book. It’s witty, incisive, and still entirely relevant for our time (even if you need some footnotes to help explain outdated references).
When I finished, this became one of my top 10 books. I plan on rereading this book over and over again.
Links Included: Atheist church audit, stay Protestant, but Catholics are awesome too, the Bible is about the Messiah, but Casaer Augustus had an interesting life.
